Ingredients

Scale

Salad Filling

  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup homemade croutons
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Wraps

  • 4 flour tortillas or wraps (10-inch)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Salad Mixture: In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and homemade croutons. Use tongs to toss everything together thoroughly. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Adjust dressing amount if desired. Set aside.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a large pan over medium heat. Warm each flour tortilla in the pan for about 15 to 30 seconds on each side, just until they are soft and pliable. Alternatively, warm the tortillas in the microwave between paper towels for 15 to 30 seconds. Keep the warmed tortillas covered with a kitchen towel to preserve softness.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay the warmed tortillas on a clean surface. Divide the prepared Caesar salad mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla. Fold in the opposite sides of the tortilla, then roll it up burrito-style to enclose the filling securely. Optionally, insert a toothpick to keep them closed.
  4. Serve: Cut the wraps in half if desired or serve them whole. Enjoy immediately for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Use cooked chicken of your preference: grilled, fried, or rotisserie for convenience.
  • Homemade croutons add extra crunch but store-bought croutons can be used as well.
  • Adjust Caesar dressing quantity according to your taste preference for creaminess.
  • Warming the tortillas makes them more flexible and prevents cracking when wrapping.
  • These wraps are best eaten fresh but can be stored wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to one day.
